MSK Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to produce pictures of muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves and joints all through the body. It is used to assist with diagnosing hyper-extends, strains, tears, caught nerves, joint inflammation and other outer muscle conditions. Ultrasound is safe, noninvasive, and does not use ionizing radiation.
